Jewish community to ask VB School Board to change 2021 start date to accommodate Rosh Hashanah

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Members of the Jewish neighborhood will communicate to the Virginia Seashore Faculty Board on Tuesday evening about altering the primary day of the 2021-2022 college 12 months.

The calendar at the moment has the primary day of sophistication for 2021 on the day after Labor Day, on the Jewish vacation Rosh Hashanah. The vacation marks the beginning of the Jewish New 12 months.
